He brought you into my bedroom and all you were wearing was that crazy headdress with the fanned out palm leaves, nothing else. God Damn you’re cool! I'll never forget that checkerboard tattoo on your sleeve with that foriegn word, Pepita, embroidered along the bottom. Oh how that image haunts me! I googled your name to find out what you've been up to, but all I found were those photo's you did for Playboy in the 80's. God Damn you’re hot! I even asked Zoltan, the Hungarian turntable repair man who worked at Rock n' Soul, if he could ask around to see if he could find any info regarding your where-abouts. He told me that you were singing in some lounge in Cali, married some shlub, and now your in jail for embezzling his money? Tell me it isn't so? If you needed cash, all you had to do was ask! My thoughts are with you and I hope you’re safe. I've waited eagerly for the day when I can meet you face to face and have you whisper the words “Hadd Mondjam El” in my ear.
